OUR COMPANY

Our story starts as far back as 1962 where, thanks to their good experience in the construction of test benches for nozzles, a group of young men used their initiative to launch their own firm, producing nozzles, elements and delivery valves for the automotive and the agricultural diesel engine markets. Italy was in a boom period and very quickly OMC2 became a well-known factory both in Italy and abroad, almost from the beginning commencing co-operation with the most important European original equipment manufacturing firms. The range of production remained focused on these three components but the application range continuously expanded and with gradual increments to larger engine sizes, suitable to locomotive, marine, and power markets. Constant expansion of our facilities, allowing greater production capacity, together with regular investment in new technology, enabled OMC2 to operate the best strategic choices in the critical moments, such as in 1998, when a major reassessment was made, the company discontinuing its production of automotive fuel equipment. By doing this, we were able to dramatically increase the production of nozzles, elements and delivery valves for diesel engines used in the marine, stationary, and locomotive sectors.

 
 

At OMC2 we have a saying that diesel fuel injection is in the blood and that it develops a kind of addiction in the people who deal with it but, joking  aside, we do have a very low turnover of personnel and in quite a few instances fathers train their own sons to take over their jobs at time of retirement! Thanks to this fortunate situation our company benefits from great continuity, for all intents and purposes the company management being similar to “a family managed business” where the attainment of profit is tightly linked to the passion for our own work.

 

OUR LOCATION

OMC2 is an Italian company located in Cazzago San Martino, in the industrial part of our country and logistically very convenient to the great towns like Milano and Brescia. From our unique location we have had the good fortune to select the best personnel, maintaining and motivating a staff of highly skilled people who have greatly contributed to the achievement of the precision and quality goals of our products, now sold all over the world.
